Communication Interface Unit (CIU888)
The CIU 888 is a communication interface and data-gateway unit that connects tank-gauging instruments to control-room systems, delivering real-time, calculated inventory data (level, volume, density) for bulk storage tanks. It continuously scans tank parameters, performs inventory calculations per international standards, and makes data available to host systems (DCS, inventory management, reporting).
